StaffMD
does not recruit for any industry, and our focus as a company is website
development and database systems. StaffMD is not interested in being
involved with direct recruiting at any time in the future. Our directive as a
company is to make recruiters more successful with the tools we make available
to them, and we have been very productive in these areas.

History
In 1999 and
2000, Jeffrey Sisk (founder and sole owner of StaffMD) had a vision to build an
online job resource for physicians. Having years of experience in physician
recruitment and website programming skills, Mr. Sisk set out to accomplish this
goal.
Mr. Sisk's programming efforts were successful and StaffMD's first medical
employment website www.physicianwork.com
launched on December 11, 2000. In addition to providing employment resources for
physicians, PhysicianWork also included job postings for physician assistants,
nurse practitioners and CRNA's (certified registered nurse anesthetists) because
a large number of physician recruiters work with these areas. PhysicianWork was
initially a free website and StaffMD started charging monthly subscription fees
to direct employers and recruiting/staffing firms for the first time on August
15, 2001. After going to subscriptions in August of 2001, StaffMD initiated
aggressive advertising programs to secure candidates (the company invested in
itself) and the subscriber base grew at an astounding pace. The growth trend has
been steady and continuous since this time period, and PhysicianWork is the
nation's leading physician job resource with over 50,000 jobs online. In 2005, candidates viewed over
two million
individual job postings on PhysicianWork.
In November 2002, StaffMD launched two additional physician recruiting websites
at www.doctorwork.com
and
www.locumtenenswork.com. These two sites were developed to bring additional
candidates to the companies who advertise jobs on PhysicianWork. Both sites show
jobs posted in the PhysicianWork jobs database by subscribers, and all candidate
responses from these sites go to PhysicianWork subscribers. These sites have
been very successful and have accomplished the purpose for which they were
launched.
In May of 2003, StaffMD launched www.rxwork.com.
RxWork is an employment resource for clinical pharmacy/pharmaceutical
professionals. RxWork is currently a free resource.
In November of 2003 StaffMD launched
www.rnwork.com . RnWork is an comprehensive employment
resource for nurses.
